The sweating skin, bad perspiration odor, oily hair, and of course, skin tanning haunt our minds. A wide range of products is available in the market to cater to these summer problems. But what about the tanned skin? Applying sunscreens with strong Sun Protection Factor (SPF) on the skin might sound relieving right now, but in the long run, they can have impeding effects on our skin.
No need to worry! Although the suntan will vanish eventually, still if you are in a hurry, here are natural ways by which you can quickly get rid of suntan in a jiffy!
1. Honey and Papaya face pack
Papaya is rich in vitamin A & C and since it is a tropical fruit it is contains good amount of water. Also, it contains an enzyme called pepsin which is greatly helpful in removing dead cells while also healing your skin.
The amazing exfoliating and bleaching properties of papaya makes it a perfect choice to remove suntan. The honey in this pack soothes and moisturises skin. For the pack preparation, mash 1/2 cup of papaya together with one tablespoon of honey. Let this pack sit for half an hour on the tanned areas and wash it off with cold water.
2.Tomato Juice & Yogurt
Tomatoes are always known to be rich in vitamins like A,B and potassium. It is citric in nature and is also said to prevent wrinkles. The citric acid present in the tomato juice is a natural tan remover. It removes dark spots and pigmentation from the skin while yoghurt moisturizes and soothes the skin.
Mix one tablespoon each of tomato juice and yoghurt. Slather the pack on the tanned skin. Keep it for 1/2 an hour before washing off with cold water.
3. Oatmeal & Buttermilk face pack
This face pack is packed with excellent benefits for removal of skin tanning. While oatmeal helps in exfoliating the skin, the lactic acid in buttermilk softens it and improves the skin tone. Combine three tablespoon of buttermilk with two tablespoon of oatmeal. Blend it together to form a paste like mixture, and then apply it at the affected area. Let the mixture dry for 30 minutes and then wash it with warm water.
