Platil

Platil 75mg Tablets contain clopidogrel, an antiplatelet medicine that helps prevent blood clots by reducing platelet aggregation. It is commonly prescribed after a heart attack, stroke, peripheral arterial disease, or placement of a coronary stent, often alongside other cardiovascular treatment as directed by a doctor. Each pack contains 30 tablets.

Platil is a prescription-only medicine (POM) and must only be taken exactly as prescribed. It increases the risk of bleeding — tell your doctor or pharmacist before starting if you have a bleeding disorder, stomach ulcer, are taking other blood-thinning medicines (including aspirin or NSAIDs), or have any planned surgery or dental treatment. Check the patient information leaflet inside the pack, or ask your pharmacist, for the full dosing instructions, precautions, and possible interactions.
